Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

The Recession Collective is an Indian print-on-demand apparel brand. Our website is operated from India. All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR) and governed by Indian law.

2. Products

All our T-shirts are print-on-demand products — printed fresh after your order is placed. Product images on our website are as representative as possible, but slight variations in print placement (±1–2 cm) and color rendering (due to screen differences) are normal and not considered defects.

3. Ordering

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • The information you've provided (name, address, phone number) is accurate
  • You are 18 years or older, or placing the order with parental consent
  • You are purchasing for personal use

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, with a full refund issued.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in INR and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Prices can change without notice. The price at the time of your order is the price you pay.

Shipping charges and COD fees are added at checkout and shown clearly before payment.

5. Payment

We accept:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Credit and Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
  • Net banking
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — subject to a ₹40 handling fee and pin code availability

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your payment details.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship across India. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, strikes, or events beyond our control.

Risk of loss transfers to you once the product is dispatched and tracking is provided.

7. Returns & Refunds

Our Return & Exchange Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it fully before purchasing.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, graphics, text, and content on our website are the intellectual property of The Recession Collective. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them without written permission.

9. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Submit false or misleading information

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, The Recession Collective is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of revenue, data, or profits
  • Damages arising from courier delays or failures beyond our control

Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, India.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
